O.C.'s Top Lawyers

It seems everyone knows an attorney, or at least someone who can connect them with one. In today's world, you can't run a business, or even do business with another party, without the guidance of a lawyer. That may explain why there are so many attorneys in Orange County. It's one of the oldest and most important professions. Finding the right attorney for your needs, however, can be tricky, or even downright intimidating. That's why OC METRO turned to Avvo, a national organization that evaluates attorneys in specific regions, for recommendations on Orange County's top lawyers. The Avvo rating is an evaluation of a lawyer's background, calculated using a mathematical model that considers the lawyer's profile, including years in practice, disciplinary history, professional achievements and industry recognition. For this special issue, OC METRO looked at the top lawyers based on the Avvo rankings in 19 different legal categories. The result is our most comprehensive look yet at the men and women who are shaping and leading the important and vibrant law industry in Orange County
